The current Simulation Center of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra began its activity in the 2009/2010 academic year. It is part of the Clinical Training Unit and since its inception, its fundamental mission is to provide undergraduate and graduate students with state-of-the-art standardized training in a controlled and safe environment and to improve medical training.

It also provides training in unusual clinical situations, allows procedures in scenarios that recreate critical situations and reinforces teamwork, self-learning and self-criticism.

The Simulation Center organizes and collaborates in postgraduate teaching with the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and offers courses and workshops to other Faculties for the acquisition of specific competences.
