“ SimBa ”, the Swiss Centre for Medical Simulation in Basel/Switzerland was among the first institutions worldwide in the early 1990’s developing tools and technique of simulation for the healthcare environment.
Since then the leaders implemented a multitude of course concepts for pre- and postgraduate simulation-based education, focussing on interdisciplinary and multi-professional team training in various disciplines and specialities.
They always keep the focus on patient safety, CIRS, human factors / CRM, professionalism and highest clinical expertise for optimal patient care and outcome.
